Silver Crescent Photography and Buried By Time Photography present The Abandoned Zoo Photography Workshop 2026. This location was open as a family-owned petting zoo from 1933 until it closed in 2006. The zoo, covering 200 acres, featured over 2,000 animals and more than 150 species. There are dozens of buildings to explore and photograph. Among the many animals at the zoo was a baby giraffe, born onsite in 2002. You will have unlimited access to the zoo and all of the buildings (a few buildings are unsafe and sealed shut). Workshop focus will be on White Balance and Landscape Photography.
There will be one open session for this event on 10/18/25 from 9:00am-3:00pm, giving you ample time to explore this huge area. The cost for admission to this exclusive…
