Silver Crescent Photography and Buried By Time Urban Decay Photography present a return to The Victory Theater -  Dusty Seats and Rusty Reels. We are granted another opportunity to host you at this magnificent location and its glorious state of decay. The historic 1,680 seat theater opened in 1920 and closed in 1979. This enormous Art Deco theater features an orchestra pit as well as many other relics of a time long forgotten in American culture. The workshop offers an opportunity for both novice and experienced photographers alike to shoot inside one of the last-of-it's-kind movie houses in America. Complete instruction and photographic tips are available from the two hosts, both longtime and noted photographers in the Western Massachusetts region. Experienced photographers are free to move about the theater on their own to shoot the many fascinating areas of this historic structure. Admission to the event is $40 per person. Included in your admission will be an (optional) instructional block on Ghost-Effect Photography. Models are permitted if accompanied by a photographer for an additional $20 surcharge. (A substantial portion of the proceeds donated to the Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts, which is actively restoring the theater. This will be our 7th event hosted here.) Admissions will be strictly limited, so don't wait if you want one last chance to photograph this amazing location.

THE ABANDONED ZOO PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
CATSKILL, NY

Silver Crescent Photography and Buried By Time Photography present The Abandoned Zoo Photography Workshop. This location was open as a family-owned petting zoo from 1933 until it closed in 2006. The zoo, covering 200 acres, featured over 2,000 animals and more than 150 species. There are dozens of buildings to explore and photograph. Among the many animals at the zoo was a baby giraffe, born onsite in 2002. You will have unlimited access to the zoo and all of the buildings. Workshop focus will be on White Balance and Landscape Photography.

Silver Crescent Photography and Buried By Time Photography present The Vermont Castle Photography Workshop. This exclusive location is an architectural masterpiece, built in the middle of the 19th Century in the heart of the Green Mountains. It’s design is a blend of European styles. The castle is on a 115 acre estate, and has three floors spaciously divided into 32 rooms. The interior features are highlighted with 84 stained-glass windows and 13 fireplaces finished with imported tiles and bronze. The Castle’s furnishings include Far Eastern and European antiques and museum pieces, complemented by statuary, Chinese scrolls, and Oriental rugs. This is the first-of-a-kind event at this amazing location, and you will have full access to the entire building. Workshop focus will be on Ghost Effect Photography, and Depth-Of-Field.

The location features a 5500 square foot 1800's farmhouse which retains all of the original furnishings. There are also a number of other buildings on this large property, making this event an unique opportunity for exploration and depth-of-field photography. There is a limited number of spots in this workshop, which features a morning or an afternoon session, so don't get left out.
